Lee McQueen nabs victory in 'The Apprentice'

LONDON (AFP) — Lee McQueen, a 30-year-old recruitment sales manager, was declared the winner of the British version of "The Apprentice" television show on Wednesday evening.
McQueen, the son of a milkman, was the only candidate not to have been questioned in the boardroom through the duration of the show, and was chosen by Sir Alan Sugar for the 100,000-pound (125,000-euro, 195,000-dollar) job despite having been caught for lying on his CV.
The final task saw the four finalists -- McQueen, Helene Speight, Alex Wotherspoon and Claire Young -- given a week to launch a male fragrance, and McQueen faced off with Young for Sugar's final thumbs-up.
