Totti on course for return

ROME (AFP) — Roma captain Francesco Totti's recovery is on schedule and he is expected to be fit to lead his side in the Italian Supercup against Inter Milan on August 24, said Corriere dello Sport Monday.
Totti ruptured knee ligaments against Livorno on April 19, ending his season prior to Roma's 2-1 Italian Cup victory against Inter but still finishing with 18 goals in all competitions.
The 31-year-old is expected back at the club's Trigoria training base to begin his pre-season preparations on July 5 ahead of the team's return from their summer break on July 20.
The Corriere dello Sport also reported that now Roma have signed John Arne Riise and Mirko Vucinic and with Simone Loria expected to finalise a deal by the end of the week, coach Luciano...
