No licence, no participation, UEFA warns English clubs

LONDON (AFP) — English clubs risk being kicked out of top European competitions if they employ underqualified coaches, UEFA technical director Andy Roxburgh said on Monday.
"The Premier League and the Football Association have to try to find a solution," said Roxburgh.
"From our point of view at UEFA, if a club hasn't got a licence then they cannot take part in European competitions."
The warning comes 24 hours after Paul Ince signed a three-year deal with Blackburn Rovers.
That appointment had earlier been in doubt after it emerged Ince did not have the right coaching certificate, but the Premier League finally allowed the move, stipulating he must get his UEFA Pro Coaching Licence within two years.
