Williams at Wimbledon for 'decades' to come, says Serena

LONDON (AFP) — Two-time champion Serena Williams said she and her sister Venus, the reigning women's champion, intend to return to Wimbledon for "decades" to come as she negotiated the first round safely on Monday.

"We have decades left at Wimbledon, we definitely plan on capitalising," Serena said after her 7-5, 6-3 win over Kaia Kanepi of Estonia.

Williams, 26, said the sisters' act was still very much alive and kicking, especially at Wimbledon where they have dominated in the new millennium, winning the singles' title six times between them.

She admitted: "I do everything Venus does and I have tried to grow out of that. But we'll be out here for a long time."
