Google helps advertisers figure out website demographics
0 Comments | AFP, June, 2008
SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) — Google on Tuesday introduced a tool that lets advertisers figure out which websites their ideal customers are inclined to visit.
"Google Ad Planner" lets advertisers enter demographics they wish to target and then returns a list of websites likely to appeal to people with those characteristics.
"We hope you'll find this tool useful and discover many relevant sites, small and large, that would otherwise be hard to find," the Internet search king said on its website.
"You can drill down further to get more detail like demographics and related searches for a particular site, or you can get aggregate statistics for the sites you've added to your media plan."
Ad Planner is in a private test phase.
