LOS ANGELES (AFP) — Roman Polanski has lined up an all-star cast for his next film "The Ghost," an adaptation of British author Robert Harris's political thriller of the same name, it was reported Thursday.
Oscar-winning actors Nicolas Cage and Tilda Swinton as well as former 007 Pierce Brosnan have all signed to star in the film, Variety reported.
Cage will play a ghostwriter who is hired to finish the memoirs of a former British prime minister (Brosnan) after his predecessor is found dead in mysterious circumstances.
Swinton, who won a best supporting actress Oscar this year for her portrayal of a scheming lawyer in the corporate thriller "Michael Clayton" will play the prime minister's wife, Variety reported.
