Wimbledon and Serena greet leopard-skin queen

LONDON (AFP) — Serena Williams is rarely upstaged in the fashion stakes on a tennis court but the former Wimbledon champion admits she has met her match in fellow American Bethanie Mattek, the leopard-skin queen.
Williams has caught the eye at Wimbledon with the white trenchcoat she wears during the pre-match warm-up, while Maria Sharapova's tuxedo top and shorts combo attracted plenty of attention.
But even they would think twice about some of the outfits worn by Mattek.
The blonde 23-year-old from Florida drew gasps from the notoriously staid Centre Court crowd at Wimbledon when she wore knee-high soccer-style socks in 2006.
Just a few months later she was back in the spotlight at the US Open, with a leopard-skin outfit earning the headlines....
