Serena predicts more Venus showdowns

LONDON (AFP) — Serena Williams shrugged off her heartbreaking Wimbledon defeat to big sister Venus to predict that the two Americans are far from finished as Grand Slam winners.
Venus clinched her fifth Wimbledon title with a 7-5, 6-4 win on Saturday in what was the pair's first meeting in a Grand Slam final since Serena came out on top here in 2003.
During that time, their tennis obituaries have regularly been penned but Venus, now 28, and 26-year-old Serena, demonstrated once again that despite the emerging powers of eastern Europe, they are not ready to be put out to pasture.
"If we stay on the opposite side of the draw it probably will be a likelihood that we'll meet in more finals," said Serena.
