Calzaghe to face Jones Jr in farewell boxing match

LONDON (AFP) — World champion at two different weights Joe Calzaghe will face American legend Roy Jones Jr in the Welshman's farewell fight, according to www.boxingtalk.com on Saturday.

The fight will be rubber-stamped within the next two weeks and is to be held in September, Jones told the website.

"Calzaghe and I are going to be fighting this fall," the American said. "They are holding September 20 or November 15 for us, but right now it's looking like September 20."
