Rangers land Velicka

GLASGOW (AFP) — Rangers have signed Lithuania striker Andrius Velicka from Norwegian side Viking Stavanger for one million pounds (1.2 million euros).
The 29-year-old is no stranger to the Scottish Premier League after spending 18 months with Hearts before moving to Viking in January.
That switch didn't work out and Rangers manager Walter Smith swooped to take him to Ibrox.
