Hamas delegation in Egypt for unity, prisoner talks

EL-ARISH, Egypt (AFP) — A Hamas delegation arrived on Tuesday in Egypt to discuss resuming talks with Palestinian president Mahmud Abbas' Fatah movement and a prisoner exchange with Israel, an official said.
The Egyptian security official told AFP that the delegation led by Jamal Abu Hashem was on its way to Cairo, where they were due to link up with another group of Hamas officials who were expected to arrive from Syria.
Hamas spokesman Ayman Taha earlier told AFP in the Gaza Strip that the delegation would be holding talks with Egyptian officials on "the internal situation and national Palestinian dialogue, the crossings, including the Rafah crossing, and the Shalit question."
