McLaren reject Stewart's advice

LONDON (AFP) — McLaren team manager Ron Dennis has insisted Grand Prix great Sir Jackie Stewart is wrong to suggest Heikki Kovalainen should spend the rest of the season helping team-mate Lewis Hamilton become world champion.
Kovalainen did help fellow McLaren driver Hamilton out by pulling side in this month's German Grand Prix and so allowing the British driver to go on to win the race.
The Finn's title hopes this season appear slim, with Kovalainen 30 points behind championship leader Hamilton and eight races left.
