Mosley defends private life

ROME (AFP) — Formula One chief Max Mosley defended his bondage romp with five prostitutes in an interview with Gazetta dello Sport on Wednesday, claiming that people are entitled to do as they please in their private lives.

Mosley has come under pressure to resign from his position as president of the FIA, Formula One's governing body, after allegations emerged in the News of the World that he had taken part in an orgy with Nazi connotations.

Mosley was awarded 60,000 pounds (120,000 dollars, 76,000 euros) in damages against the owners of the News of the World in a court settlement after he sued the newspaper over the allegations.
