LONDON (AFP) — A jury failed on Friday to reach a verdict in the trial of three men accused of assisting the suicide bombers who killed 52 innocent people on the London transport network on July 7, 2005.

Waheed Ali, Sadeer Saleem and Mohammed Shakil were accused of visiting the London Eye observation wheel on the River Thames, the Natural History Museum and the London Aquarium to allegedly pinpoint potential targets during a trip seven months before the 2005 bombings.
