Ibanez appointed Wasps captain

LONDON (AFP) — French legend Raphael Ibanez has been appointed as captain of Premiership champions Wasps following Lawrence Dallaglio's retirement.
Ibanez is one of the sport's all time greats after winning 98 Test caps and leading France to the 1999 World Cup final.
The 35-year-old takes over from England World Cup winner Dallaglio, who hung up his boots after Wasps beat Leicester to win the Premiership title at the end of last season.
"Working with Ian McGeechan and Shaun Edwards and all of the coaching staff at Wasps has been a fantastic experience for me," Ibanez said.
"When Ian spoke to me about the captaincy, my first thought went to Lawrence Dallaglio.
