MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin (AFP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Mo Williams in a three-team trade with the Milwaukee Bucks, American media reported on Wednesday.
Cleveland will ship guard Damon Jones to Milwaukee and forward Joe Smith to Oklahoma City in the six-player National Basketball Association deal, US sports broadcaster ESPN reported.
Milwaukee also would receive guard Luke Ridnour and forward Adrian Griffin from Oklahoma City, which would get forward Desmond Mason from Milwaukee.
Williams averaged 17.2 points and a team-leading 6.3 assists for the Bucks last season.
