Sweden's Ibrahimovic doubtful for France friendly

STOCKHOLM (AFP) — Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a big doubt for Sweden's friendly against France in Gothenburg because of a knee injury, according to Swedish soccer federation spokesman Thomas Saleteg on Tuesday.
Ibrahimovic has been suffering from a condition known as "high-jumper's knee" - prevalent among athletes and basketball players - and is unlikely to play all of Wednesday's match.
"Zlatan is not likely to play the full 90 minutes, but maybe 45 minutes," said Saletag.
The 26-year-old Swedish star, who plays for Inter Milan, appeared twice during the Euro championships in June, scoring on both occasions.
