Duval to replace Latvala in Catalonia and Corsica

PARIS (AFP) — Belgium driver Francois Duval will replace Finn Jari-Matti Latvala as the official Ford driver alongside Mikko Hirvonen for the Rallies of Spain and France in October, the English team said Monday.
Duval, 27, who finished third in the Rally of Germany, is this week replacing Italian Gigi Galli in a Focus of the Stobart team, the B stable of Ford with whom he finished fourth in Monte Carlo last January.
Duval won his only race in Australia in 2005.
The Rally of Spain takes place in Catalonia from October 2-5 and the Rally of France in Corsica from October 9-12.
Duval was runner-up in Catalonia in 2005 in a Citroen Xsara, and third in Corsica in 2003, driving a Ford Focus.
