South Korea's Park signs for Monaco

MONACO (AFP) — South Korean attacking midfielder Park Chu-Young has signed for Monaco, the French first division club said on Monday.
The 23-year-old Park, previously with FC Seoul, left for France on Sunday and has now signed a four-year deal for a reported three million-dollar fee (2.04m euros).
The 2005 South Korean league top goal scorer is the fourth from this country to play in France.
Park, who was first capped for his country in 2005, is seen as one of the most talented young players in Asian football.
Monaco chairman Jerome de Bontin said of Park: "We had been in contact with his club for several months and we are very happy he has joined us."
