Aussie cricketer Watson to return for one-dayer

DARWIN (AFP) — Injury-plagued Australian all-rounder Shane Watson is set to return in the second one-day clash against Bangladesh at the TIO Stadium on Wednesday.
Watson missed the first clash of the series on Saturday due to calf soreness as Australia were reduced to only 11 available players following the decision to send disgraced all-rounder Andrew Symonds home for missing a team meeting.
The 27-year-old is set to replace fellow Queenslander James Hopes, who opened the batting on Saturday.
Watson said he would enjoy the opportunity to again open the batting with emerging rookie Shaun Marsh, the pair filling the same role in the recent one-dayers in the West Indies.
