Google back up after outage

WASHINGTON (AFP) — Internet giant Google experienced technical problems on Thursday with popular services such as its main search page, Google Mail and Google News performing sluggishly or unavailable to some users.
The partial outage appeared to affect users not only in the United States but in other countries and numerous other services including Google Reader, Google Analytics and Google Maps.
About an hour after Google acknowledged that "some users are having trouble accessing some Google services," the Mountain View, California-based company said the problems had been resolved.
