Ethanol Now an Option for Florida Motorists

TALLAHASSEE, Florida (ENS) — --> The first public E85 ethanol pump has been installed in Florida. The pump, located in at an Inland Food Store in Tallahassee, is the first of 17 ethanol pump General Motors plans to install at other Inland Food Stores in North Florida over the next eight months.

As part of the announcement, General Motors said it will promote the availability of ethanol fuel with dealers and the thousands of consumers with FlexFuel vehicles in the Tallahassee region. E85 FlexFuel vehicles can run on any combination of gasoline including E85, a fuel blend of 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline. The fuel would damage regular engines.
