C. Jeff Dyrek miraculously survived a fall of nearly two hundred feet. Although he continued to work for eleven years after his 1977 accident, he eventually became so ill that he was placed on total disability. Realizing that being disabled did not signify the end of his life, nor his career, he decided to start a business from his Bushnell, Illinois home.
In 1997, Jeff launched www.YellowAirplane.com , a web site packed with information on military and aviation history, as well as a hobby store for those interested in model airplanes, trains, and ships.
