WHEN THE 2003 CLASS OF SUMMER ASSOCIATES arrived at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett this May, each was issued a welcome packet. Among the maps and guidebooks provided to introduce these aspiring lawyers to life in New York City was one indispensable item: the Zagat Survey .
