Linda Cohn has gotten used to being the exception.
In high school, she was the goalie on all-male ice hockey team. When she began covering sports, she was the only woman on the football field with a microphone-and not a pair of pompoms-in her hand.
Today, she is the primary breadwinner in the family. Her husband works from home, does most of the cooking and tucks the kids into bed at night. That's because at that time, Mommy is usually preparing to go on-air; Cohn is also the first woman to endure as an anchor on ESPN's "SportsCenter."
She is also one of the few highly successful career women who can also boast a happy 17-year marriage and two children raised so far without the help of a nanny. As Cohn approaches her 10-year anniversary on ESPN, NEWSWEEK's...
