I interviewed Donald Trump in February, with his supermodel girlfriend, Melania Knauss, by his side--along with a mysterious, unnamed middle-aged couple, who sat impassively. We dined on shrimp and filet mignon at his Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach, Fla., surrounded by some of the world's richest people. Trump lifted his hair to show me it was real. "I think he looks very handsome," Melania said, to which he cooed, "Baby, that's the only thing that matters." She purred like a kitten when I asked if they would get married. At the time, Trump, 57, and his 33-year-old Slovenian beauty were not yet engaged.
