Giving new meaning to “viral video,” late-night host Jimmy Kimmel unleashed a hilariously profane, mock-dating sketch last week called “I’m F–––ing Ben Affleck.” It was a retort to the equally profane one created by Kimmel’s girlfriend, comedian Sarah Silverman, called “I’m F–––ing Matt Damon.” NEWSWEEK’s Ramin Setoodeh asked Kimmel: what the f––– was he thinking?
How did this whole thing start? Did Sarah go behind your back and record her video with Matt?
That was a genuine surprise. She brought it on the show. I didn’t even know what was on the tape. It may be the first time I’ve been actually surprised on the show.
