Apparently, TV viewers can handle just so much nasty reality.
Tough but tasteful Martha Stewart tells Newsweek that two Apprentice shows - hers and Donald Trump's - were one too many.
"Having two Apprentices was as unfair to him as it was unfair to me," Stewart said. "But Donald really wanted to stay on."
The Empress of Good Things said the original idea was to have her dump the Trumpster by firing him on air. Trump disputes that version.
"I wish she would be able to take responsibility for her failure," Trump tells the Associated Press, sounding a tad like a therapist. Her show didn't have the right tone or demeanor, he says. Perhaps he didn't like the thank-you notes.
