Frankford Candy consolidates Phila. facilities

Frankford Candy Co. said it had completed the consolidation of its three Philadelphia facilities into a $20 million, 500,000-square-foot building in the Northeast. The privately held company employs 200 and is among the top 10 suppliers of seasonal candy in the United States, Frankford said in a news release. The company was founded in 1947 as a manufacturer of chocolate-molded Easter candy.- Harold Brubaker
