'Hot Feet,' but tepid plotting, acting

Do you remember the band that provided the soundtrack to your life? The infectious intro that sprung you onto the dance floor, sweating in boogie wonderland? The music that nudged you into a long, sweet kiss and made you wish you weren't in the wrong place to be real? And then, after the love was gone, the song you played over and over until the needle turned the grooves of the vinyl white?

That band for me was Earth, Wind & Fire. And more than 30 years after first falling in love with Philip Bailey's falsetto and the kalimba - Maurice White's African thumb piano that gave EW&F its Afro-Caribbean sound - it still is.
