A sophomore was arrested today on charges of bringing live ammunition to Winslow Township High School, where an alleged shooting rampage plot was recently uncovered.
The student, a 10th grader from Sickerville, admitted to school administrators that she carried four loaded .22-cal. rounds this morning in her backpack, officials said.
Police were called shortly after 9:15 a.m. when a bus driver reported he had found a live round on a bus seat, said Dr. Michael Schreiner, Interim Superintendent of Winslow Township schools.
Administrators placed the school under a temporary lockdown. Students were asked to stay in their second period class until a search of the school was complete, Schreiner said.
