Jaworski's Challenge brings out the players

For the most part, the two-day Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge is a nice way for fans and athletes, including a number of current and former NFL players, to rub elbows at the Atlantic City Country Club.

But for about three hours tomorrow, during the Acme Celebrity Shoot-out, the "nice" part of the weekend gives way to intense competition as 10 contestants vie for the championship.

"The Shoot-out brings out the competitive juices in the guys," said Jaworski, the former Eagles quarterback and current ESPN football analyst. "Sure, you're playing for money; the guys give the money back. But it's bragging rights. They love to compete."
