Milanese follows his heart by sticking with the Soul

A number of Rob Milanese's Ivy League friends are running up the corporate ladder while he runs fly patterns in the Arena Football League for the Soul.
A 2003 Penn graduate with a degree in finance, Milanese has delayed entering the real world and is staying in one that features receptions, touchdowns and - as of last week - a playoff win. The one thing it doesn't consist of is a lot of cash.
Now in his second year with the Soul, Milanese has friends who are making six-figure salaries on Wall Street. Milanese is making considerably less as an arena football player.
The league minimum salary is $28,400, although that doesn't count living expenses that AFL teams are mandated to provide to players during the season.
