There's only one way to describe the TV week: spectacularly Hasselhoffian.

It started with the NBA finals as Miami Heat fans began waving hundreds of headshots of David Hasselhoff in the stands whenever the Dallas Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki went to the foul line. It was meant as mockery, because Nowitzki admitted to using Hasselhoff's songs to psych himself up before games.

But you don't have to be German to be unnerved by an array of Hasselhoff images. The pictures came out, Nowitzki missed a crucial free throw, and the entire Dallas team collapsed. Fans around the league should consider the wall-of-Hasselhoff strategy to give their team an edge against opponents.
