Rutgers quarterly discussion of local economy a bit bleak
0 Comments | Philadelphia Inquirer, The, July, 2006 | by Leonard N. Fleming
Some hospitals are underfunded and losing money. Mortgage rates continue to rise. Oil prices are at new highs. Uncertainty around the world gives financial markets constant worries.
But despite bleak projections and the belief that things will get worse before they improve, there are a few bright spots that show the economy may experience long-term improvement.

The Rutgers Quarterly Business Outlook, which was held at the Clarion Hotel in Cherry Hill, is conducted in January, April, July and October and attended by South Jersey business leaders.
