Getting beat in heat is what camp's about

Ed Jasper is taking part in his 10th NFL training camp, which means the Eagles defensive tackle has seen his share of heat, hitting and headaches.
Jasper is on his second tour of duty with the Eagles after signing as a free agent, and the first week of training camp has left him bushed and battered.
"I have never been through a camp this hard," he said after yesterday morning's practice at Lehigh. "The first four days, especially, were brutal."
Jasper's first two NFL seasons, 1997 and 1998, were with the Eagles. He spent the next six years with the Atlanta Falcons before playing for the Oakland Raiders last year.
"I don't care how much you prepare, you aren't ready for something like this," he said.
