Eagles will be short on regulars

The Eagles, or at least a reasonable facsimile of the football team that represents Philadelphia, will return to Lincoln Financial Field tonight for their preseason home opener against the Cleveland Browns.
Fans will not see Brian Westbrook, Ryan Moats, Bruce Perry or Correll Buckhalter, the four running backs who topped the team's depth chart when training camp opened three weeks ago.
Fans will see Reno Mahe - lots of Reno Mahe - Thomas Tapeh, Jason Davis and Marty Johnson.
"We still feel very comfortable running the ball with Reno," Eagles coach Andy Reid said after a brief workout yesterday at Lehigh University. "That's not a problem. Reno knows the offense as well as anybody."
Mahe also knows his most important task tonight.
