Film lovers Paterno, Tressel give each other good reviews

The middle-age guy with the red vest and the tax auditor's haircut doesn't appear to have much in common with the old man in Coke-bottle glasses and rolled-up khakis. But, in a way, Jim Tressel and Joe Paterno are the Ebert and Roeper of college coaches. While the technologically challenged Paterno still can't distinguish a videotape from a DVD, there are few things Penn State's coach enjoys more than sitting in his den, dissecting an opposing team as he watches one.

Tressel is, by all accounts, a tape junkie, too, spending hours each day viewing them in elaborate film rooms inside Ohio State's Woody Hayes Athletic Center.
