Philly-born fashion guru James Galanos is getting some love in his hometown. Drexel University's Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design, which similarly honored Philadelphian Ralph Rucci last year, will roll out the carpet in Galanos' honor at a Nov. 16 benefit for Drexel design students; tickets (215-895-2114) start at $350.

Rumored invitees include Nancy Reagan, Renee Zellweger and Nicole Kidman, a few of the celebs he clad before he retired in 1998. Some retirement.
