If everything goes according to plan, South Philly singer-songwriter Bill Ricchini is about to get a whole lot more exposure for his dreamy songs. His "A Cold Wind Will Blow Through Your Door" is slotted to play during the climax to next week's Grey's Anatomy. Placing a song on a TV show can only help boost the buzz about Ricchini, whose debut wound up on Rolling Stone's 10-best-CDs list in 2002, and whose follow-up scored the same honor in 2005.

Still, he remains less than a household name, even in his own neighborhood. But Grey's Anatomy is not any show. It was the top-rated offering for the week that ended Oct. 22, averaging 22 million viewers in its 9 p.m. Thursday slot. And Ricchini has been told the ABC medical drama will play the entire song during an end-of-episode...
