Overnight shootings leave two dead

Philadelphia police are investigating three overnight shootings in North and West Philadelphia that left two men dead, a father critically wounded, and his 12-year-old daughter in stable condition. The first shooting occurred Thursday night in the 2800 block of West Master Street in North Philadelphia.
Police responding to an 8:08 p.m. call found Damien Burton, 19, of the 1200 block of North Hollywood Street in Brewerytown. Police said Burton was lying in the street with multiple gunshot wounds of the torso. He was taken to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:46 p.m. Police said they had no motive and no arrests in the case. At 12:28 a.m. today, police responded to another report of a shooting in the 3200 block of D Street in Kensington. Police said...
