The tools dazzle. The no-look passes, the behind-the-back dribble, the lithe athleticism - Cherrise Graham thought she would be flashing it all in the WNBA by now. The dream certainly seemed feasible. She had been such a star at Archbishop Carroll in Radnor that the school retired her uniform number.

She had showcased her skills at the big national camps. She had received scholarship offers from a bevy of Division I powers. She had been named the Gatorade girls' player of the year for Pennsylvania in 2000. In short, on the high school hardwood, she had crossed the T's in all that.
