'Buster' hops in to our town

Buster Baxter, boffo bunny journalist and international jet-setter, sets down in Philadelphia this morning, and it looks a lot like India. "Philadelphia Masala," an episode of the PBS kids' show Postcards From Buster, airs at 7 on WHYY TV12. Postcards is a spin-off of the popular Arthur cartoon series, about an aardvark and his animal pals, who live in Elwood City, just down the street from the happy side of nowhere, and are matter-of-factly more human than beast.

Buster travels around with his dad, a pilot, and sends video postcards, featuring all the interesting people he meets, back home to his friends. Prunella the poodle is a particular favorite.
