S. Jersey Boys | Pennsauken Tech wins state vocational schools crown

Pennsauken Tech captured its first state championship in boys' basketball yesterday as the Tornados knocked off Perth Amboy Tech , 51-43, in the title game of the New Jersey Vocational Schools Tournament at West Caldwell.

Cesar Santiago scored 16 points, including five of six fourth-quarter foul shots, and Shaliek Johnson and Darius Lofland added 11 points apiece for Pennsauken Tech (15-8).

Olympic. With its best shooting performance of the season, Cherry Hill East beat visiting Timber Creek , 68-52. The Cougars made 8 of 12 two-point shots and 13 of 24 three's, led by Alex Saltzburg with 20 points and four three-pointers, Cory Gosik with 19 points and five three's, and Nick Toloso with 11 rebounds.
