Chester rips Indians for district shot

Nasir Robinson and company wasted little time in making sure Chester got a chance for a sixth consecutive PIAA District 1 Class AAAA boys' basketball championship.
With Robinson scoring a game-high 22 points, the second-seeded Clippers built a 21-point lead by halftime and buried third-seeded Souderton, 85-57, last night in a district semifinal at Villanova University.
The 6-foot-5, 215-pound Robinson, a transfer from American Christian School, shot 11 for 13 from the field. His only misses came on his first field-goal try and an alley-oop attempt in the third quarter.
"When he gets the ball down low, he's unstoppable," Chester coach Fred Pickett said.
