ALM, formerly American Lawyer Media Inc., named Hal Cohen publisher of the Pennsylvania Newspaper Group in Center City. The group includes The Legal Intelligencer , Pennsylvania Law Weekly , Delaware Law Weekly , specialty books, directories and Web sites. Cohen had been director of business operations for ALM Newspaper Group in New York.
Pepper Hamilton L.L.P. has named Nina Gussack to chair its executive committee. She replaces Barry M. Abelson , who chaired the committee since 1995, and will return to the full-time practice of law. Gussack has been a partner in the 450-lawyer Philadelphia-based firm since 1987.
