Sports in Brief | Eagle helps Pettersen keep lead in Thailand

Suzann Pettersen  holed a 115-yard wedge shot for eagle on the par-4 13th and birdied the 18th to maintain a 2-stroke lead in the Honda LPGA Thailand yesterday. Chasing her third victory in four weeks, the Norwegian shot a 4-under 68 for an 11-under 133 total at Siam Country Club in Pattaya, Thailand.

Canadian  Alena Sharp , winless in two full seasons on the tour, matched Pettersen's 68 to hold the second spot on the Pattaya Old Course.

Bob Estes  and  Tommy Armour III  shot 5-under 68s to share the lead in the suspended second round of the rain-soaked Ginn sur Mer Classic on the PGA Tour.
