Penn State finally landed a wide receiver. A.J. Price, a 6-foot-4, 187-pound senior from Reston, Va., gave an oral commitment to the Nittany Lions over the weekend. A two-star recruit, according to the Web site rivals.com, he was also considering Virginia. Price gave Penn State his pledge during his official visit to State College.
He is the 13th commitment for the Lions' 2008 recruiting class and is the first receiver. Penn State plans to sign 16 or 17 recruits when National Signing Day arrives on Feb. 6. - Jeff McLane
