Winslow's Robinson picks SMU for football

Winslow Township defensive back Keith Robinson has orally committed to attend Southern Methodist University on a football scholarship, Eagles coach Mike McBride announced yesterday. Robinson, a 5-foot-10, 180-pound senior, also visited William & Mary, Duke and Northwestern. "He wanted to go to the Deep South," McBride said.
"He has a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins in the Dallas area, so it was a good fit for him, and he liked the academic programs at SMU." Robinson, who also played running back and rushed for 625 yards and five touchdowns last season, carries a 3.5 grade point average.
