Weather reschedules 1 game in girls' district hoops finals

Yesterday's PIAA District 1 Class AAAA girls' basketball championship game between Methacton and Downingtown East was postponed because of snow. It will be played tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Villanova University. Today at Villanova, champions in the three other classifications will be decided. The marquee matchup is the 6 o'clock Class AAA final between bitter rivals Villa Maria and Mount St.
Joseph. Since this is their ninth meeting over the last two seasons, Villa Maria and Mount St. Joseph need no introduction. Last year, the Mount took the series, 3-2. The teams split during the regular season, the Magic beat the Hurricanes in the AACA final and again for the District 1 crown, and Villa romped by 32 points in the state semifinals. This season?
